Motrix was created by the visual artist Melissa Liedke, from her impression
of the group members' "play", in a reference to the
rigorous dramatic postures kept during the performances.
To compose the logo the artist used as reference the recycling symbol - the group uses only discarded objects as musical source - and the cross of an ancient american indian tribe, representing the primitive aesthetics of ritualistic narratives incorporated to the group's performances. |
